Working with the materials and energies available on site – the Ile-de-France region – means first of all evaluating, quantifying and displaying them. This involves the soil of Grand Paris, the stones of the regional subsoil, the surrounding forests, but also the local rainfall, the quality of the sunshine on the site, the direction of the prevailing air currents, etc.

Earth, stone, wood, plant fibres, sun, rain and wind from the Ile-de-France region will take the form of a “monumenta” of Ile-de-France’s raw resources and the artefacts that allow them to be captured by mobilising the regional partners of the sectors involved.
